Located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Cafe Rue Orleans - Cajun & Seafood is a delightful escape for seafood lovers and fans of Cajun cuisine. Patrons rave about the authenticity of the dishes, many of which are shipped directly from New Orleans. Diners like Jacob Frantzen laud the fried green tomatoes for their crispy perfection and the beignets paired with chicory coffee as a must-try. The standout dishes include the bourbon street chicken po boy, beloved for its satisfaction, alongside fried shrimp po boys that boast generous portions. We’ve been waiting to go here since moving to NWA. I recommend going during an off hour like 3 or 4. Safe to say, it exceeded expectations. Everything was served as fresh as it gets. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly crispy & seasoned. The french bread, olive tapenade, beignets, chicory coffee, etc. are all shipped in from NOLA. & Our server couldn’t have been any friendlier. If you love seafood & creole &/or cajun cooking, this spot needs to be on your bucket list.

I had an excellent experience at Cafe Rue this past week. Sarah was my server and she was lovely and attentive. Food was spectacular and came out quickly. Very fond of the staff :) Great people!!! Only got a picture of our dessert, but our entrees and apps were phenomenal!!

Super cute place with really good po boys. My boyfriend n I came in and got the gator bites as an app and they were pretty good. A bit smaller than I thought they'd be but good nonetheless. I got the bourbon st chicken po boy with a side of baked mac n cheese and it was very good. By far the Mac n cheese was my favorite thing we ate. My boyfriend got the fried shrimp po boy and there was so much shrimp on it I ate the ones that fell off and they were GOOD. The sauce they put on the po boys is so freaking good idk what it is but it's like a white sauce. The bread they have is AMAZING as well. He also got a side of jambalaya and it was good but he said it was just a little bland. Said it could use a bit of sauce. Our hostess was kind and the server was nice but not super attentive. The food did take a while so I'd say just try to be patient and try not to walk in when you're super duper hungry. All in all the food was delicious and we will be back to try other dishes on the menu

Great local spot offering Cajun food which isn't very common in the NWA. I tried the shrimp Ponchartrain and it was really good though i wish it had more shrimp but overall still really good.

The fried catfish plate was wonderful! The shrimp po boy was delish. The duck gumbo was really good. The fried artichokes are a must. Definitely a must when in Fayetteville! I will have a dinner review coming soon. Can't wait to try the BBQ shrimp. Will keep you posted. Eat, drink and be awesome!!

Don’t let the humble housing deceive you, as a genuinely inspiring meal can be found here. The food was everything I hoped and wanted it to be. You could tell instantly that these are dishes which were imagined creatively, executed expertly, and perfected over time. The delicate textures and flavors of the each and every item came through crystal clear.

We went for lunch. I had the crawfish etouffee and the gator bites, and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more options.

This place is always great if you want a taste of New Orleans without being there. The service was great, and the food came out quick and hot. I ordered the muffaletta, and it took me right back to the first time I had one in New Orleans. My friend ordered the red beans and rice and he said it was very good. We ordered beignets to share. They were overdone for my liking, but he liked them.
